This Expert Advisor is purely a diagnostic tool: it does not open any trades, but analyses and ‘captures a snapshot’ of the environment in which MetaTrader 5 is running.

Once launched on the chart, it collects all the broker’s technical specifications and displays them in three ways:

  1. The chart panel at the top left of the chart (with data updated in real time).
  2. Terminal log (the ‘Experts’ tab at the bottom).
  3. CSV file (saved in the MQL5/Files folder on your PC).

What information does it extract?

The EA reads dozens of vital parameters in real time, grouping them by category:

  • Time Zone (Crucial): Calculates the broker’s server time, your PC’s time and the exact difference between the server time and UTC (Greenwich) time.
  • Trading Costs: Extracts the swap calculation method, the long and short swap values in real currency (per 1 lot), and the current spread.
  • Symbol Rules: Digits (decimals), contract size, minimum/maximum/step volume, Stop Levels (minimum distance for placing Stop Loss and Take Profit orders) and Freeze Level.
  • Execution and Connection: Ping in milliseconds (latency), connection status, order filling modes accepted by the broker (FOK, IOC) and margin calculation method.
  • Account: Broker name, server, account currency, leverage and equity.
